The first thing I want to say to you is: Never Give Up Hope and Thank You to all of my friends who have been with me through out this rollercoaster journey this past 18 months.
A little over 18 months ago I was diagnosed with Mellinoma Cancer. Having had previous battles with cancer I knew from the get go, that it was going to be an uphill battle! I have stayed in prayer and have never lost my hope! All I could to was place my Life in Gods hands and Trust him and the doctors to get me through it.
It was not always easy I won't lie to you and say it was, I became angry and even said to God, "why are you letting this happen to me? Do you call that Love?" Then, when I settled down enough to see clearly again, I knew that this was just part of the journey of my life that he was allowing me to go through, so that He would be able to get the Glory through my testamony!
I know that without God I would not have made it through the treatments that I underwent. If you are on my close friends list you know how sick I became. I even had to be hospitalized because my lungs even tried to shut down...God said NO!!!, and he opened the door to the use of a Bipap machine at night to keep me breathing! My heart tried giving up...He said NO, you aren't taking her satan, She belongs to me! He has brought me through losing weight that is not the goal when you are battling cancer.
Yesturday was Valentines Day, and I went for my scheduled body scan. Two and a half hours later my doctor called me back into see him, normally they just tell me to check back with them in 48 to 72 hours! That is when they discuss my treatment options for the next series. Today he said these magic words to me, you are in "remission"! If I could have jumped out of this wheelchair without breaking my neck I would have...instead I started crying and saying thank you Lord! Now he did say that remission simply means that there is no cancer cells present at this time. He stressed that they would be doing periodic scans on me over the course of the next few years, because it can come back!
Right now I do have some infection going on and we are treating it with antibiotics and then I will be back to doing what God has blessed me with and that's running my business full-time!
Thanks for visitng, I will be sharing passions, likes, dislikes,my christian walk and Christ, what I do and what I bring to my community!

Have I Missed My Goals?
Have I Missed My Goals? Some would say yes, I say NO because I have done the things that needed to be done each day that I wake up.
I wake up and Thank God for another day to serve Him! Then I ask him what I am to do today be it Ministry wise, health wise or business wise and I get it done. So, have I missed my goals, no I have not.
We make a list of goals usually about this time of year for the next year, without taking into consideration our daily family life. That is when self doubt starts creeping in and we start asking, have I missed my goals?
When starting our list of goals we need to also have a calendar handy and block out 90 day segments.
In each segment then break it down into weekly segments, work on one week at a time. Schedule in God time, family time, personal time and then work time! At the end of that week review the list of goals that you have accomplished and those that you were not able to accomplish, chances are that you got more done than you thought that you had.
If you did miss a couple don't beat yourself up just reevaluate how much you are trying to do in a day. Remember, Rome was not built by humans in one day.
Enjoy life while you can as we only have one to live in human form!
I love you all! Marilyn

Living For Today!
I am sick and tired, both in the literal and physical sense of things! I am tired from the toil that the cancer is taking on my body! I am tired of being told that I can't do something because it will interfer with someone elses schedule! I am tired of people mining my searches when I am online and then trying to sell me everything that they have to offer!
1. I AM going to do what I want with the rest of my life!
2. My little bit of money that might be left when I cross-over to the other side, will go to the Ministry and my children....not to a program online!
3. I am taking Cancer Treatments on Tuesdays and Fridays. Do Not Call Me after 2 pm CST!
I have had to close down my candle business, so I have some stock left over, see the specials on the side bar! I will be using the funds from the candle sales to help pay for my medical expenses!
The gift basket sales help support the Homeless in Oklahoma City!
If I want to travel to see my friends, I am going to do it! You can get another client! I can't get another life once the Lord says that this one is over! If I have learned nothing more than to "Live Life" to the fullest, in a Christian manner! I have learned it all!
My desire for you is that you "learn how to Live for Today" and not base everything that you do based on next month or next year! The desires for next month and next year are goals.....and are needed, to give you the desire to keep going>>>>Living Is For Today!
Until the next time!
