As I promised here is the rest of the story.
The first step is to decide what it is that you want to do and is it feasible for you to do!
I know that my first work from home job was a major failure, because I did not research it enough to know what all it entailed. Have you ever tried to sale someone a Condo site unseen? It does not work very well as I found out $1,500.00 later! Can I sell things from home, you bet I can!
Today, I research anything that I am going to do from home thoroughly, I know in advance what it is going to cost me to set up my office area, how much my License's are going to cost me and those are the simple things.
Since, I already had a background in office management that was pretty easy for me. I knew how many sq. feet of free space I would need without anything between me and say my file cabinets. Someone my need to come in from an outside agency such as The Department of Vocational Rehabilitation in your city, to do an in home evaluation of the area that you plan to use.
The Department of Vocational Rehabilitation is going to be a great resource for you if this is your first time attempting to work, since you became disabled. They have alot of resources that they can put you in touch with to assist you in meeting your goals.
If you draw SSDI or SSI contact your local Social Security Office about the Ticket To Work Program, that is step One in the Working from home process when you receive either one of these funds.
