Never Give Up Hope Ever!!!

The first thing I want to say to you is: Never Give Up Hope and Thank You to all of my friends who have been with me through out this rollercoaster journey this past 18 months.

A little over 18 months ago I was diagnosed with Mellinoma Cancer.  Having had previous battles with cancer I knew from the get go, that it was going to be an uphill battle!  I have stayed in prayer and have never lost my hope!  All I could to was place my Life in Gods hands and Trust him and the doctors to get me through it.

It was not always easy I won't lie to you and say it was, I became angry and even said to God, "why are you letting this happen to me? Do you call that Love?"  Then, when I settled down enough to see clearly again, I knew that this was just part of the journey of my life that he was allowing me to go through, so that He would be able to get the Glory through my testamony!

I know that without God I would not have made it through the treatments that I underwent.  If you are on my close friends list you know how sick I became. I even had to be hospitalized because my lungs even tried to shut down...God said NO!!!, and he opened the door to the use of a Bipap machine at night to keep me breathing!  My heart tried giving up...He said NO, you aren't taking her satan, She belongs to me! He has brought me through losing weight that is not the goal when you are battling cancer.

Yesturday was Valentines Day, and I went for my scheduled body scan.  Two and a half hours later my doctor called me back into see him, normally they just tell me to check back with them in 48 to 72 hours!  That is when they discuss my treatment options for the next series.  Today he said these magic words to me, you are in "remission"!  If I could have jumped out of this wheelchair without breaking my neck I would have...instead I started crying and saying thank you Lord!  Now he did say that remission simply means that there is no cancer cells present at this time.  He stressed that they would be doing periodic scans on me over the course of the next few years, because it can come back!

Right now I do have some infection going on and we are treating it with antibiotics and then I will be back to doing what God has blessed me with and that's running my business full-time!
